One Enduring Lesson - Book Review

Sometimes the unexpected happens.

In life we talk about things we want and don't want but what we need is what we get. There is a plan for everyone, like we make plan for ourselves, I believe God has one for us too. Even if you are a person who doesn't believe in God, I am sure you would be a believer of the reasons because of which things happen. Well, I am a believer of Science and God both and I feel whatever you can imagine is possible, you just need determination and determination comes for things you really need in life.

Recently I was sent this book "One Enduring Lesson" for a book review. Little did I knew how this debut novel by Mr Jamal Merchant will ignite that belief once again. When I started reading the book, I wasn't quite able to pick real interest but as I progressed, I just couldn't keep the book down. I had to finish it.

One Enduring Lesson is a book about an NRI trying to find his way in life after many hardships trying to achieve what he aims for. The trough and crests in life, his determination and belief that God is one although religion can be many and why he need to do what he need to do is uncanny.

The book inspires you to nurture your positive thoughts and teaches you why one need to be selfless too, how and why you need to be grounded even after gaining all the possessions in the world, why people are important and how you can achieve the best if you have the will power to control your urges for the glamorous things which can create havoc in life.

    1. It will. It's not being atheist or not. Even if you don't believe in God but an energy which keeps things going than also it is okay. It's the moral which is of importance here.
