A ‘Trip’ You Don’t Want to Miss

I have lived in Goa which is famous for its Sun, Sand & Sea for 5 years and have visited twice after leaving it for job in Mumbai but never had visited Morjim Beach which is famous for being a nesting and hatching habitat of the Olive ridley sea turtle, an endangered species.

Recently when I heard about the "Trip", a resto-bar situated in the Morjim Beach, I couldn't stop myself from researching more on it and the beach, which makes me want to visit Goa pretty soon and Trip is on my foodie wish list too.

Why do I wanna visit Trip?

Located alongside a stretch of white-sand beach, the venue is designed minimalistically in aqua blues and whites. A one-stop destination for everything you need to have a good time - good food, the seaside ambiance and good live music.

It also offers a wide array of cuisine; tapas, pasta, mezze, sushi, pizza and much much more. The interiors & Trip's location

Trip is spacious and open, allowing people to relax and unwind right by the beach side or under the shade further inside. There is a long bar at one end with comfortable lounge seating as well as dining style tables. There are live music performances every Sunday evening, with a sunset backdrop, after which a DJ takes over into the night.

Behind the Scenes

Priya Thakur, owner of the Larisa Mountain Resort in Manali decided to expand to the winter capital of fun, Goa, armed with a good understanding of what people are looking for in a holiday-like environment. The Larisa resorts, both in Goa as well as in Manali are a combination of elegance, warmth and comfort. The name originates from an amalgamation of three words from the local language of Lahul. La signifies that which is above; Ri, the mountains; and Sa means the Earth. True to its name, the resorts are surrounded by natural beauty. In Goa, she teamed up with partner Sarfraz Alam to set up Larisa Beach Resort and Trip restaurant next to each other.

The boutique resort has eight tastefully decorated air-conditioned cottages right on the beach. The luxurious, yet warm boutique rooms also have private jacuzzis, so you can soak away your worries with a spectacular view of the sea.
